¡Hola! Mobile World Congress is the world’s largest gathering for the mobile industry, organized by GSMA.
This Congress is taking place in Barcelona from 26th February until March 1st. It will be four days for exploring new industry opportunities and a full agenda of insightful conferences on mobile related topics.
Our Head of Business Development, João Costa and our Head of Technology, Pedro Silva will be there to meet you and explain our exclusive solutions for mobile demand and supply.
Meanwhile, we would also like to share some tips if it's our first time going to Spain, specifically to Barcelona.
For starters, you should know that in Barcelona people speak Catalan. For that reason, you may notice the difference between this language and Spanish.
Of course, in most places, they also speak English, so you won't have a problem. Still, if you know some words in Spanish, especially in locals where tourists aren't so ordinary, it will make your stay a little more comfortable.
Secondly, if you want to see around, your best option may not be to rent a car, at least we don't recommend it. You'll lose too much time trying to find a parking spot and paying too much for that. Metro and bus are the best possibilities for getting to know the city.
Thirdly, be aware of the culture. Barcelona is a culturally vibrant city, with Gaudí influences in every building you see.
Also, consider going to Las Ramblas, the most known pedestrian walkway, full of local shops and nearby Las Ramblas, there's La Boqueria, a food market. We especially recommend you to try paella and croquetas, two very famous dishes.
Hope you find our recommendations useful, and we're looking forward to seeing you at the Congress!
